Scope and Subject of the Terms of Use
Under the consortium leadership of Heidelberg University Hospital (Department of Hematology, Oncology, and Rheumatology – Internal Medicine V and Department of General Pediatrics, Neuropediatrics, Metabolism, Gastroenterology, Nephrology – Pediatric Medicine I), the project “INTEGRATE-ATMP: Integrated Care for New Therapies through Telemedicine, Empowerment, Gene Therapeutics, Registry Establishment, Medicinal Safety, Treatment Pathways, and Reimbursement” is being conducted. For this purpose, the University Hospital Heidelberg operates the present website.
The main objectives of INTEGRATE-ATMP are to create standardized healthcare structures and sustainably improve the structure, process, and outcome quality for the economic and quality-assured application of ATMPs in Germany. The new healthcare model involves the phased implementation of structural measures to improve care and ensure the treatment quality for ATMP patients. Key interventions include the introduction of cross-sectoral, structured treatment plans, a cross-indication ATMP registry, and a telemedicine platform with a possible interface for federal authorities. All these structural measures will be evaluated, and their effects on health-related quality of life, patient satisfaction, and satisfaction of healthcare providers will be measured as part of health services research.
